West Palm Beach, FL. (AP) - A shark up to 9 feet ate the man, says a shark expert on Friday. Stephen Schafer, 38, was in the middle of kiteboarding about a quarter off shore in Stuart, 100 miles N. of Miami. He went into the water Wednesday and he was surrounded by about 3 sharks. "I don't think there's any doubt that this was an attempt by a larger-size shark to have a meal," said George Burgess, who oversees the International Shark Attack File at the University of Florida's Museum of Natural History. He lost about half of his blood.
