People jump from a burning boat

Portland, OR - Three people jumped from a burning boat in the Columbia river gorge. The boat exploded and then burst in to flames. The passengers were just leaving after they put gas into the boat, then it exploded.

West Palm Beach, FL. (AP) - A shark up to 9 feet ate the man, says a shark expert on Friday. Stephen Schafer, 38, was in the middle of kiteboarding about a quarter off shore in Stuart, 100 miles N. of Miami. He went into the water Wednesday and he was surrounded by about 3 sharks.
